Angela Davis is a local painter born and raised in Minneapolis and currently lives in downtown Mpls. Her primary medium is acrylic and Sharpie, and she likes using a bold and bright pallet to catch the viewers eye and lift their spirits.
Her inspiration is her community and her view of it; it’s diversity, music, family, and friends. Angela’s subject matter is usually urban scenes, local landmarks, or cultural subjects.
Angela has participated in numerous exhibits, art fairs, markets, music festivals, art projects, murals, and more. These include, but not limited to: Art-A-Whirl, Pancakes & Booze, MIA Foot in the Door, Susan Hensel Gallery, Homewood Studios, Selby Jazz Fest, West Broadway POP UPS, Various Farmers Markets in Mpls & St. Paul, Nokomis Urban Craft Fair, Seward Art Crawl, St. Paul Art Crawl, Mc Knight Foundation Celebration of Life Exhibition.
