Katie started making her own natural deodorant because she was looking for one that actually worked… She wanted a natural deodorant that lasted the whole day! After formulating the perfect recipe, Katie’s friends and family started asking her for some. This is how Marigold Essentials began. Now, she makes and provides small batch deodorant and lip balms.
Katie’s “real” job is as a Brewer. She is the Head Brewer at Bobtown Brewhouse in Roberts, WI and the Lab Manager/Director of Quality Control at Hop & Barrel Brewing in Hudson, WI.
Currently, Katie lives in Saint Paul. She has a cat named Stanley. In her free time she likes riding her bike and reading. Kaite is also trying to learn Spanish and how to play guitar.
